Hello everyone,
Almost there everyone! Children, remember to pack your case yourself so you know what is in it and know how many socks you have taken. Writing a list so you know what clothes you have taken makes sense and is a good way to keep organised - it is an early start on Friday.
Buddy tops are required for travelling - so please ensure you have yours on Monday morning.
In your school bag/back pack - you should have: your packed lunch, your water bottle, a spare change of clothes, a flannel/face cloth
Remember not to pack your money or medication, keep them in a handy place to give them to your teacher when you arrive.
Remember to say thank you and goodbye to your parents when you are dropped off as they will miss you a lot. Have a good weekend - sleep and eat well! All done - we will see you around 9am on Monday.

Top Tip # 4
Food at Lagganlia
Remember to include a packed lunch for the first day – there
is no need to provide any other snacks/sweets/savoury items as Lagganlia
provide all the well-balanced food that is needed for the week. We are not allowed any food in the rooms and
this has been an issue in the past as some may have squirrelled bits and pieces
from home. We would appreciate your
support with this.

Top Tip # 3
Hello everyone today's tip
Envelopes – Lagganlia souvenir shop – please no more than
£5.00 in an envelope clearly marked with your child’s name.
Medication – please ensure envelope/bags are marked with
child’s name and instructions clearly
indicated. There are so many
different types of motion sickness tablets that can be taken at various times
so we would need to know which type and when they are to be taken.

Top TIp #2
Socks
are really important at Lagganlia, it makes the biggest difference at trying to
avoid blisters as we are in the water a fair bit. Sports socks are ok for hanging around in but
we would prefer regular socks (and plenty of them)that come up your ankle. Please also take along thick socks for both
the hill/gorge activities - at least one pair would be beneficial. Unfortunately last year, we didn’t have
enough Compeed blister plasters for everyone so feel free to send one with your child.
This is us - almost ready to go...

Top Tip # 1
We have spoken to all
children last week and emphasised that if your child uses inhalers, we would
need a minimum of two blue ones as one will be taken out daily and the other one will stay in the centre in
case something happens - as it did one year when a child had it in their pocket
and it floated down the river. Also it
would be helpful to have initials on them as well. If you would like us to take the spare in
school, please let us know.
